General Information

Xpedition tours are planned at least a year or more in advance. In the event that a venue or hotel has been determined to not meet standards that we feel will provide you with a great experience, we reserve the right to make a substitution.

We are recommending one suitcase per person not including those with medical needs. Our coach has overhead storage, however, the height is limited to 14 inches. You might want to bring on board a small “tote type” bag for magazines, sewing, etc.

Xpedition Travel will always utilize Compass Coach for their transportation services. Compass Coach maintains a new fleet of motor coaches equipped with outlets at every seat, restrooms and all the modern amenities.

All hotel rooms are contracted with two double or two queen beds. A pull out sofa is never considered a bed. A king room may be accommodated upon request.Please request a handicapped accessible room at the time of booking so arrangements can be made with the hotel properties.

Comfortable, casual clothing is always recommended. Out of consideration for those traveling who have allergies, we request that no heavy perfume be used.

Every Compass Coach bus is equipped with a restroom. However, “Comfort” stops will be made every approximately 2 1/2 hours. This will allow guest to exit the motor coach, use restroom facilities and stretch their legs!

Both Xpedition Travel and Compass Coach do not allow smoking on the motor coach.

Gratuities to the driver and guide may be extended at the end of the trip based on your satisfaction with the their services and care that made your trip enjoyable.

Each tour offers a different level of activity. All tours do require a moderate amount of walking.

Xpedition Travel cannot provide special assistance to guests that require special needs for walking or other routine activities beyond the use of a walker or wheelchair. It is recommended that tour guests be joined by a helper on the trip who will be specifically responsible for providing assistance.

Much effort has been put into providing a variety of meals. If you have dietary restrictions, please advise Xpedition Travel. Not all locations are able to meet the request for dietary restrictions so please talk to one off our travel specialist about the menu choices and options at lease 6 weeks prior to departure. Some variation in dietary menus comes with additional cost.

One month prior to departure you will receive a pick up packet in the mail. This packet will include your Departure Information, Final Itinerary, Passenger List, Luggage Tag and other final information you may need.
